About the Activities

Carve Carrbridge is a family friendly event and there is something for all ages.
Parking at Landmark Forest Adventure Park is an ideal starting point for families and just a short walk to the event.  On the way you will pass some of more than 30 carvings around the village.

The Badenoch and Strathspey Pipe Band play over lunchtime and whilst the judging is taking place.

Scottish School of ForestryUHI are on hand to chat about pathways into the industry

The Highland Folk Museum are back by popular demand with a range of old style wood working tools for you to try.

The Woodland Trust will also have some hand’s on activities to try

Highland Artisans will be on site for young Crafters to have a go at Garden Ornaments and Birdhouses

Hopscotch will be making their Carve Carrbridge debut this year with Glitter Tattoos and Balloon Modelling and Highland Folk Museum will bring some tools of old to try your hand at.

 

Spencers Fun Fair is always a popular favourite.

The Crockery Smash and other activities will be delivered by volunteers and all funds raised will go to the Friday Club for Carrbridge Primary School Pupils.

And Wooden Tom is coming back for all those who love to throw an axe
